Small business, big results

If you’re part of a small business or nonprofit, then congratulations. You’ve succeeded against the odds. Chances are you’re the first to arrive and the last to go. And even when you leave, business is still on your mind.

Part of that business is marketing. And we’re here to help. How? For starters, we can help you sleep at night. We alleviate your anxiety about marketing by replacing worry with a plan, budget and action.

We’re in your corner

We understand small business. We’re one too.

We’re one of you, not one of the big guys. Small business* makes the world go round. You return calls, look customers in the eyes, create jobs and pay the bills. Big business? Not so much. Huge corporations are insulated from their customers by layers of bureaucracy, elite law firms and PR agencies. Small firms live at street level. There’s no buck to pass and no place to hide. They “own” the business in more ways than one.

Roy Harryman Marketing Communications understands your strengths and limitations. We help you make the most of your resources – however vast or limited they are. We’ll never sell you anything you don’t understand or need. We’re fiercely responsive, independent and committed to your success.

We help you stand out

Instead of trying to yell louder than everyone else, we tell your unique story, sharing your relevance to the marketplace.

The average American views 16,000 ads, logos and labels each day. Adding yours to that pile – at least in conventional ways – won’t make a dent.

People aren’t interested in our products or services. Instead, they want pain alleviated, tasks done, stuff fixed. If your product or service can do those things – and you can explain it in a meaningful way, then you win. The same holds true for nonprofits: The organization that presents its case with clarity and “Wow!” stories of transformation gets attention.

Instead of emphasizing your products and services, we tell the marketplace how you:

  • Solve problems.

  • Make life better.

  • Change the world (or your little part of it).

In short, we help you “Educate and inform instead of interrupt and sell.”
